The Verdon Gorge – the Baudinard Gorge
Less well known than the Verdon gorges, the Baudinard gorges are just as worth visiting!
Whether on foot or by canoe, you will be dazzled by its wild beauty and lush nature.
Located between Lake Quinson and the Sainte-Croix lake dam, its narrow canyon is surrounded by impressive cliffs plunging straight into the turquoise water.
The Baudinard gorges consist of two small lakes, Lake Artignosc and Lake Montpézat.
Moreover, this protected natural site is full of treasures such as caves dating back to prehistory or some sublime waterfalls.
In short, you will quickly fall under the spell of this idyllic setting, an excellent alternative to the very touristy Galetas bridge.

Village of Moustiers Ste Marie
The village is located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department (04) in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. Moustiers lies at the heart of the Verdon Regional Natural Park and is also within the UNESCO Global Geopark. It is close to exceptional natural areas: the Vénascle plateau, Lake Sainte-Croix, the Verdon Gorges, and the Valensole Plateau. Numerous outdoor activities are available.
The first lavender fields are located a 10-minute drive from Moustiers, towards the village of Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon. The lavender blooms between mid-June and mid-July. You will find the most beautiful flowers between the last week of June and the beginning of July.

The canal warden's path is a very beautiful hike, which runs along the lower Verdon gorges.
It's quite easy with breathtaking scenery as you follow the emerald blue of the Verdon.
This is one of the most beautiful hikes to do, more accessible than the Martel trail and shorter.

Outdoor Area:
The property features a stunning private 10 × 5 m Bali-tiled saltwater swimming pool with a shallow beach-style entrance. For the safety of younger guests, the pool is secured with a protective fence.
Two spacious, furnished and shaded terraces invite you to enjoy your meals outdoors in a peaceful and elegant setting.
The large, fully fenced 7,000 m² garden offers plenty of activities for the whole family, including a swing set, table tennis table, and many other leisure options to enhance your stay.

The villa opens onto a magnificent 70 m² living space flooded with natural light thanks to its large floor-to-ceiling windows. This elegant area combines a fully open modern kitchen, a welcoming dining area, and a comfortable lounge, making it the perfect place to relax with family or friends in a warm and refined atmosphere.

A spacious master bedroom with its own private shower room.
Upstairs:
Three bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed.
A family bedroom featuring an additional baby cot, specially designed to accommodate younger guests.
A shared bathroom, thoughtfully designed and perfectly appointed to provide optimal comfort for all guests on the upper floor.

For your comfort, Villa Callisto is equipped with several air conditioning units, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay even during the warm Provençal summer days:

An air conditioning unit in the living area ensures a pleasant temperature throughout the shared spaces.

An air conditioning unit in the master bedroom on the ground floor guarantees cool and comfortable nights.

Upstairs, an air conditioning unit located in the hallway provides optimal cooling distribution to all bedrooms.

An additional air conditioning unit is installed in one of the upstairs bedrooms for enhanced comfort.
Thanks to this setup, the entire villa remains pleasantly cool and comfortable throughout the summer season.
Terms & Conditions:
We welcome guests on a weekly basis only, from Saturday to Saturday.
Additional fees: A €200 cleaning fee is added to the weekly rental rate.
"This service is optional should guests wish to carry out the cleaning themselves."
In accordance with current regulations, the tourist tax is not included in the rental price and must be paid separately during your stay.
Villa Callisto can accommodate up to 8 guests and one baby.
Check-in is available between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and check-out must take place before 10:00 AM.

Terms and Conditions – Villa Callisto
1. Owner Identification
The seasonal rental property is offered by:

2. Booking Terms
The reservation becomes effective after:

signature of the rental agreement,
-
and payment of a mandatory deposit corresponding to 30% of the total rental amount.
The owner reserves the right to cancel any reservation if the deposit is not paid within the agreed timeframe.
3. Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than one month before the arrival date.
In the event of non-payment within the required timeframe, the reservation may be automatically cancelled without refund of the deposit already paid.
4. Security Deposit
A security deposit of €2,000 will be required before check-in in the form of a bank card pre-authorization.
This deposit may be used in the event of:

damage,
-
deterioration,
-
excessive cleaning,
-
or failure to comply with the rental conditions.
5. Cancellation Policy
All reservations are firm and final.
In the event of cancellation by the tenant:

Any deposit(s) paid shall be retained by the owner.

No refund shall be due or claimed.
6. Tourist Tax
The tourist tax is not included in the rental price.
It is charged according to the current rate applied by the Durance Luberon Verdon local authority, currently:
€4.40 per person per night.

7. Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in takes place on Saturdays between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
Check-out must be completed no later than 10:00 AM on Saturday morning.
Any late arrival must be notified in advance.
8. Liability
The tenant is responsible for any damage occurring during the stay caused by themselves, the occupants of the property, or any visitors.
The owner declines all responsibility in the event of:

theft,
-
loss,
-
forgotten personal belongings,
-
accidents occurring on the property,
-
or temporary interruption of equipment beyond their control.
9. Insurance
The tenant agrees to hold valid holiday rental liability insurance covering the duration of the stay.
Proof of insurance may be requested before arrival.
10. Pets
Pets may only be accepted with prior approval from the owner.
The owner reserves the right to refuse certain animals depending on their size, number, or behaviour.
Any damage caused by a pet will remain the responsibility of the tenant.
11. Disputes
In the event of a dispute relating to the execution of the rental agreement, the parties shall endeavour to reach an amicable solution.
Failing agreement, the competent courts shall be those within the jurisdiction of the location of the rented property.
